Nzatu Food Group has initiated the flagship Moringa project in Namwala district. The Moringa will be gown as part of a Productive Forest, Agroforestry system including Beekeeping and the indigenous Mukangala trees.

Last week, Dr. Kafula Chisanga (PhD) representing the Zambia Agriculture Research Institute ZARI, under the Zambia Ministry of Agriculture, visited the site to inspect the soil and ensure that the saplings were free of pests and/or diseases.

The fencing for the first 20 Hectares was installed, boreholes dug, pumps and Solar Panels installed. The local community was involved in the entire process and were very excited to be engaged in the future developments of the site and the expansion of the Productive Forest concept.
