On April 12, 2026, Nzatu Food Group will proudly stand alongside AfroMed Association and the NUOVA TRADIZIONE S.R.L. Charity Team as they take on the Milan Marathon to raise vital funds for our flagship project in Namwala, Zambia.
Namwala represents our holistic model of regenerative agriculture and community empowerment. Across 7,000 hectares, we are developing an agroforestry and productive forest system that integrates moringa and indigenous trees with sustainable farming and beekeeping to generate long-term environmental and economic value.
This initiative is designed to:
-
Restore biodiversity and ecosystems while contributing to anti-poaching efforts.
-
Strengthen local incomes and food security through regenerative practices and diversified crops.
-
Create employment opportunities for young people in sustainable agriculture and apiculture.
A critical next step is the establishment of a mobile honey testing laboratory. Unlocking honey as a reliable income source requires quality assurance, traceability, and certification capacity. The mobile lab will enable beekeepers to test and certify their honey locally, strengthening buyer trust and anchoring a cooperative model that ensures fair market access.
Quality control is not optional — it is fundamental to transforming small-scale production into stable, sustainable livelihoods.
By supporting this initiative, you contribute to:
-
A cooperative platform that empowers smallholder beekeepers.
-
A stronger and more diversified rural economy.
-
A scalable model linking regenerative land stewardship with economic resilience.
We invite our community to support the runners, share this initiative, or join the team for Milan Marathon 2026.
Every step taken on April 12 will contribute to measurable impact across Zambia’s landscapes and livelihoods.
