Insights from London’s Top Tier Impact and UBS Summits

We had an inspiring week in London!

First with Top Tier Impact’s Nature and  Biodiversity investment summit to explore nature and climate as an asset class.

We were enlightened by inspiring panels ranging from technology for biodiversity and nature to fixed income in financing nature based solutions.

A strong representation to include Indigenous knowledge and respect local indigenous rights was showcased elegantly by Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri who screened the trailer of The Regeneration Generation and spoke about her journey with Shakti Regeneration Institute (SRI) and working with communities across the world to protect biodiversity.

At UBS Global Wealth Management’s event for African Ecosystem Conservation, the Philanthropy arm with UBS Optimus Foundation recognized that  Climate Change and Biodiversity Loss have especially profound implications for Africa, a continent at the forefront of environmental vulnerability, facing an alarming rate of animal and plant species extinction.

Multiple innovative models to move away from pure philanthropy were discussed, including the most effective conservation approaches focused on  biodiversity,  community-led interventions and  innovative financing models.
