EUDR Compliance

Nzatu Food Group is on the path to being EUDR compliant. Thanks to our technology partnerships, we can digitally measure, report and verify our activities from the cherry to the cup!

Unlike large corporations who are already preparing to pay hefty fines for non-compliance, and pass the price burden on to the consumer, Nzatu Food Group will ensure fair prices to the producers as well as the EU consumers.

Pre-Harvest:
– Farmer Profiling
– Geo-coordinates of land parcels under cultivation.
– Capture the ‘Right to cultivate’ and prove that it is not a hashtag#deforested land parcel
– Capture hashtag#regenerative cultivation practices, impact on hashtag#biodiversity and CO2 sequestration potential

Post Harvest:
– Physically segregate produce from known sources
– Processing and blending as the source is known/compliant sources

Compliance and Reporting:
– For each batch, sharing of kml/ shp/ geo-json files for all the source farmers
– Data on “procured from whom” and “sold to whom”
– Risk mitigation by conducting internal surveys and independent audits
