Nzatu is preparing a new nursery for the Trees for People restoration project in Namwala, Zambia. The nursery will soon host 1,000 moringa seedlings, ready for planting at the beginning of the next rainy season.
This initiative is part of a broader regenerative system designed to connect environmental restoration with sustainable community development by supporting:

Biodiversity recovery and the return of pollinators.
Climate-resilient food production.
Sustainable livelihood opportunities for local communities.
Healthier buffer zones between wildlife corridors and smallholder farming areas.
The Namwala project continues to grow through a combination of regenerative activities, including moringa cultivation, legumes, sorghum production, beekeeping, composting, community training, biodiversity monitoring and productive forest restoration.
Although progress often begins with small initiatives such as this nursery, the long-term vision is ambitious: to demonstrate that African agricultural landscapes can regenerate ecosystems, strengthen local communities and contribute to the protection of wildlife simultaneously.
