As we close the year, Nzatu Food Group reflects on a challenging yet transformative period.
Throughout 2025, we strengthened a unique ecosystem at the intersection of regenerative agriculture, biodiversity conservation, community development, and climate action — guided by one clear objective: delivering triple impact across people, planet, and prosperity.
From field to final consumer
This year we launched Njuki, a 100% Ugandan Arabica coffee now distributed across Europe and selected as the official coffee of the IUCN World Conservation Congress. Biodiversity monitoring on the plantation recorded over one hundred bird species, including eleven classified as threatened.
We also advanced strategic partnerships with Artcafé and NUOVA TRADIZIONE S.R.L. to bring African-origin, impact-driven food products to international markets.
Nature, science and technology
We deepened collaborations with Restor and Synature, integrating remote sensing and bioacoustic biodiversity monitoring into our projects.
Academic partnerships expanded to include the University of Parma, Southern African Wildlife College, Sapienza Università di Roma, and leading natural history museums in Switzerland and Italy, reinforcing the scientific foundation of our regenerative model.
On-the-ground impact
Through TreesForPeople in Zambia, we are restoring 7,000 hectares of degraded land via agroforestry, beekeeping, and community-led production systems.
At the same time, we are scaling regenerative value chains across coffee, cocoa, honey, cashew, tropical fruits, and cosmetic ingredients.
Market access remains a structural challenge. Yet we continue to strengthen a strategy that connects premium products with measurable environmental and social outcomes — demonstrating that conservation and business can grow together.
Our sincere thanks go to our Board of Advisors, partners, Indigenous communities, and team for their trust and long-term commitment.
