Nzatu Food Group and Artcafé are proud to announce that Njuki, the unique blend born from our partnership, has been selected as the Official Coffee of the IUCN World Conservation Congress 2025. This prestigious event will take place in Abu Dhabi from October 9th to 15th.

The IUCN World Conservation Congress, held every four years, brings together nature conservation experts, leaders, and decision-makers from around the globe. The vision embodied by the Njuki project perfectly aligns with the core objectives of this influential gathering.

Initially focused on beekeeping—”njuki” meaning “honey” in various African languages—the startup, with Michele Sofisti as its CEO in Europe, has expanded to produce a high-quality coffee. This coffee is cultivated using regenerative agricultural techniques, specifically designed to support local communities. It is then expertly commercialized by the Parma-based roastery, Artcafé.

Michele Sofisti and Gwen Jones, Co-Founder of Nzatu Food Group, will be present at the Regeneration 2030 Forum in November. There, they will delve deeper into the significant impact of this regenerative project, further showcasing its contributions to sustainable development and conservation.

This recognition at the IUCN Congress highlights our commitment to integrating environmental stewardship and community empowerment through our products.
